Do guards need to install an app?

No. Check-calls arrive as standard phone calls on any mobile. Self check-in works through a mobile web page — no install required.

Which countries are supported?

Effectively global. GuardManager defaults to UK (Europe/London, GBP billing) but timezone and currency are configurable per tenant.

What happens if the voice network has an outage?

The scheduler is idempotent — missed minutes are caught up on restart. If a call cannot be dialled after the configured retry window, escalation fires automatically.

Can we use our own dedicated number?

Yes. On Professional and Enterprise plans you can bring your own carrier number or we provision a dedicated control number for you. Calls appear to your guards from that single, consistent CLI.

How long are recordings retained?

7 years by default — matching the retention window typical of BS 8484 operations. Configurable per tenant, with right-to-erasure tooling to pseudonymise records on demand.
